Around The Bend...

Check out this super fun and bold card I made using the Around The Bend dies found on page 162.

I love how versatile these dies are!

For my card, I went with a red, white, and black theme.

I used the Basics Embossing Folder for my background.

Here is a close-up view:

Instructions

  1. Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat with a bone folder.
  2. Add a Basic White card liner to the inside with Tombow.
  3. Emboss the Basic White mat layer using Basics Embossing Folder and SCEM machine.
  4. Attach the ribbon to the mat layer using Tear N Tape adhesive.
  5. Attach the mat layer to the card front.
  6. Die-cut all pieces.
  7. Stamp the greeting in Memento Black ink on the Poppy Parade panel.  I used the Stamparatus so I could stamp it twice in the same position for a nice crisp dark greeting.
  8. Attach greeting to mat layer using Tombow.
  9. Assemble flowers and attach them to the card front using Dimensionals.
  10. Embellish with a bow and three rhinestones.
