Cheerful Daisies Bundle...Wild Wheat and Night of Navy...Free Tutorial Tuesday!

 



Good Morning Stampers!  

Today I am popping by to share a card and a tutorial with you.  
FYI no videos this week as I was at the trailer this weekend and it was just too loud with all the lawnmowers and leaf blowers going....instead you get three cards and three tutorials this week! 

Today,I am featuring the Cheerful Daisies Suite found on page 111.

Ok...now here is my card: 

I wanted to try to combine a new in-color with an existing core color, so I opted for a Wild Wheat, Night of Navy, and Basic White combo.  

What do you think?  Blue daisies?  Why not, I say! LOL!

Adhesives- Tombow, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals

Basics Embossing Folder
SCEM machine
Acrylic Blocks or Stamparatus 

Measurements: 

Card Base:  Wild Wheat 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 
Card Liner:  Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 
Front Mat:  Basic White  1  1/8 x 5 1/2
Front DSP: In Color Stack 1 x 5 3/8
Front Mat: Night of Navy  4 1/8 x 3 3/8 
Front Focal: Basic White  4 x 3 1/4
Basic White for Stamping: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Night of Navy for Die Cutting 4 1/4 x 5 1/2

Instructions: 

  1. Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat with a bone folder. 
  2. Add Basic White to the inside panel. 
  3. Layer the DSP on the Basic White mat layer, then attach it to the front of the card as shown in the photo. 
  4. Emboss the Basic White focal panel, then attach it to Night of Navy mat layer and attach it to the card as shown in the photo. 
  5. Stamp daisy images and greeting on the Basic White panel. 
  6. Die cut the images and crop out the greeting
  7. Die cut the branches from the Night of Navy panel. 
  8. Add a greeting to the leftover Night of Navy and crop out. 
  9. Add branches to the card with Tombow
  10. Add daisies to the card with Dimensionals. 
  11. Add a greeting to the card with Dimensionals
  12. Embellish with bow and gems
