Terrific Tip Tuesday...

 Good Morning Stampers! Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a "Terrific Tip" for you...CASEing Color

You know how you sometimes see a card, and it's a wow card.  It makes me want to CASE the card.

But wait...sometimes the color combo is just FABULOUS...you know,  you can also CASE just the colors.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the term CASE, it means Copy And Share Everything.

You can use this technique to copy different aspects of a card, like the layout or color, and create an entirely new card that’s all your own!

To create a new card, use a color combination of Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Lemon Lime Twist, Pecan Pie, Petal Pink, and Soft Sea Foam.

How You Can Make It

Supplies

Pecan Pie Card Stock
Basic White Card Stock
Soft Seafoam Card Stock
Crumb Cake Card Stock
Blending Brush
Pecan Pie Ink Pad
Calypso Coral Ink Pad
Memento Black Ink Pad
Stampin' Blends: Petal Pink
                                   Calypso Coral
                                    Lemon Lime Twist
                                    Soft Seafoam
Measurements:

Card Base: Pecan Pie: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Inside Mat: Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4
Front Mat: Basic White: 3 3/4 x 5
Tag: Crumb Cake: 3 1/2 x 1

Instructions

1.  Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat.
2.  Blend Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie onto the front of the card base using a blending brush. This adds depth, texture, and interest.
3.  Stamp flower images using Memento Black ink.
4.  Color flower images using Stampin' Blends.
5.  Add the card liner to the inside of the card.
6.  Add twine and bow to the front panel.
7.  Add the front panel to the card, on a jaunty angle, to add interest.
8. Die-cut some leaves from Soft Seafoam cardstock and add to the card front.
9.  Stamp the greeting using Calypso Coral ink on Crumb Cake tag.
10.  Add the tag to the card front using dimensional.
11.  Add dots or sequins to embellish.

And voilà—a brand-new card made using CASEd colors!

I challenge you to look through your catalog and find a card sample that has a color combination you like.  Now use these colors and go ahead and try out COLOR CASEing for yourself!
