Thoughtful Wishes.....Sneak Peek #8...

 


Here is #8 in my Thoughtful Wishes series!

This one is a bright and beautiful high-contrast card.  I LOVE this one....so simple to make but it packs a punch.

Over the next couple of weeks, I will share 24 cards with you, that I made with this bundle.  My goal is not only to give you ideas but to showcase the versatility of this FABULOUS bundle.

Supplies

Thoughtful Wishes Bundle
Basics Embossing Folder
Nested Essentials Dies
Basic Black card stock
Poppy Parade card stock
Basic White card stock
Gingham Ribbon
Assorted Stampin Blends
Memento Black ink pad
Mossy Meadow ink pad

Measurements

Card Base: Basic Black: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Card Liner: Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4
Front Mat: Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4
Front Mat 2: Poppy Parade: 1 1/2 x 5 1/4
Focal Image: Basic White: 3x5
Tag Mat: Basic Black scrap
Tag: Basic White scrap

Instructions
    1. Die cut the focal image using the Nested Essentials dies. 
    2. Use Stampin Blends to color grass, and sky as desired.  (I used a swooping motion and left some white space)
    3. Stamp the flowers using a Mossy Meadow ink pad. 
    4. Carefully color the flowers with blends
    5. Emboss the Poppy Parade panel
    6. Stamp greeting and mat on black
    7. Assemble the card and embellish it with gingham ribbon.
