Tutorial- Product Talk- Firm Foam Ink Pads

I wanted to take a moment to show you the AMAZING difference when you compare stamping with the old style felt ink pads and the new style firm foam ink pads.

Here is one of my personal favourites- the pig image from the Button Buddies stamp set.

On the right  is stamped with the old style felt pad....and on the left  with the new firm foam pad.

AMAZING coverage and no continued tapping to get your stamp loaded with ink.....one tap and stamp- easy peasy!

I suggest that you ink the stamp with the pad, when using the new foam pads.

Lay your stamp on the table, pick up the ink pad and tap gently directly down on the stamp.  You will be able to see that your image is inked.

Remember not to press to  hard, as the new pads are foam and are much more pliable than the old style pads. , and if you press to hard you can ink the outer edge of your stamps and you do not want that shadowed effect.
