Lunch Break With Shel- Night Flight and Ringed With Nature

Here is a clean and simple (CAS) card I made during my Lunch Break With Shel video tutorial today:

The idea behind a CAS card is that there is lots of white space.  I am going to be honest, this type of card is a challenge for me.

Here is the link to the video tutorial: https://youtu.be/Le3RHFKDRWA

How You Can Make It:

Supplies:

Basic Black card stock
Basic White card stock

Adhesives

Measurements:
Card Base: Basic Black 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Card Liner: Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4
Focal Image: Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4
Basic White for stamping 4 x 5 1/4
Basic Black & Basic White scraps for punching

Instructions:
  1. Fold the Basic Black card base on the score line and burnish it flat using a bone folder.
  2. Add a Basic White card liner to the inside.
  3. Add a Basic White focal image panel to the card front.
  4. Punch out two white and two black crosses
  5. Use a black marker to add stitching detail to the white crosses.
  6. Add to the card front with Tombow
  7. Stamp tree slice, moth, and greeting using Memento Black ink pad
  8. Cut out the images.
  9. Color the images as desired
  10. Add images over the crosses in the bottom right corner of the card
  11. Add a greeting over the wood slice.
