Stamp With Shel Tuesday- Scrappy Strip Technique with Wanted To Say Dies- NO STAMPS

 



Good Morning my creative friends! 


Today I have a no-stamping card to share with you!  

This card features the Scrappy Strip Technique and the Wanted To Say dies.  

This card is a fantastic way to use up some of those leftover bits of cardstock and to create a bright and happy card!

How You Can Make It: 

Supplies

Garden Green card stock
Basic White card stock
Assorted color strips of card stock
Gold Swirl gems
Wanted To Say Dies

Measurements

Card Base: Garden Green: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Card Liner: Basic White: 3 3/4 x 5
Front Mat: Basic White: 5 1/4 x 4 
Strips: 7@ 4x 3/8 = 7@ 4 x 1/4
Focal Mat: Garden Green: 2 3/4 x 4
Focal Image: Basic White: 2 1/2 x 3 3/4
Greeting: Garden Green: 3 1/2 x 2
Scraps for die-cutting flower

Instructions:

1.  Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat using a bone folder. 

2.  Add a white card liner to the inside of the card. 

3.  Glue alternating widths of colored strips of card stock to the front mat layer trying to have even spaces between

4.  Add the strip layer to the card front. 

5.  Add the focal layer to the green mat layer and add to the card front with dimensionals. 

6. Die-cut the greeting and flowers. 

7.  Glue the greeting and the flower to the front of the card. 

8.  Embellish with a gold swirl gem.
