Whew! It has been quite a week! All week long I have been featuring the Joy of Noel bundle daily on my blog. I wanted to show you how fabulous this bundle is and how versatile.
Today is my final card in this weekly series...and I wanted to finish off the week with a bright and beautiful birthday card!
What? A birthday card from a Christmas bundle? yep!
Here is a final look at this fabulous bundle:
I want you to look at your stamps....don't see just the obvious...try to figure out how you can use them in different ways and for different occasions.
And here is my card:
For this card, I simply used a leaf image and changed out the greeting. Also, by creating this fabulous background you in no way think of the leaf being from a Christmas set!
How You Can Make It:
- Using a blending brush add inks to the focal layer as desired. Set aside to dry a bit.
- Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat using a bone folder.
- Add card liner to mat layer and then add to the inside of the card.
- Stamp greeting on the focal layer using Memento Black ink. I used a stamparatus tool so that I could stamp it multiple times to get a nice black image.
- Stamp leaf image as desired using Memento Black ink.
- Attach the focal layer to the mat layer.
- Add a piece of ribbon horizontally across the front of the card.
- Attach to the card front
- Embellish with a bow and black dots.
Love the card and the versatility!
