Today I am featuring the Starw at Night bundle found on page 17 of the current Mini Catalog.
Here is my card:
This is a quick and cute card that is fabulous for using up leftover scraps of DSP.
I matted the strips on Silver foil for some added "pop".
The star was cut in three different sizes and put together with dimensionals for some added interest.
How You Can Make It:
Supplies:
Night of Navy card stock
Basic White card stock
Silver foil card stock
Regals DSP
Heat Tool
Embossing Buddy
Silver Embossing Powder
Versamark ink pad
- Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat with a bone folder.
- Add a Basic White liner to the inside of the card.
- Add the DSP strips to the Silver Foil mat layers.
- Add the top and bottom strips first, matching borders.
- Now dry fit the center three and then glue them down one by one.
- Die-cut the star, assemble it with dimensionals, and glue it flat on the card front.
- Rub embossing buddy over the tag card stock. Stamp greeting in Versamark ink. Add silver embossing powder and heat set.
- Die cut the silver and the greeting tag
- Snip the silver tag in half horizontally and glue it behind the greeting tag.
- Add the tag to the card front using dimensionals
- Embellish with Basic Rhinestones.
