Good Sunday Morning Stampers!
Today kicks off week one of my Stamp With Shel November Feature Series!
Each week I will feature one bundle and all projects made that week will be made with it.
My aim is to show you multiple ways to use your products, show you how versatile they can be, and maybe even show you a thing or two that you did not know. (fingers crossed)
This week I am featuring the Joy of Noel bundle found on page 30 of the Mini Catelog.
Here is a quick peek at this bundle:
Here is today's card:
This is called a Pendulum Card...The "arm" that the greenery is attached to will actually swing and sway side to side!
This card is SO COOL and super easy to make. (Can you tell this is the first time I made this card -LOL)
I wish you could see this one in person.....it is stunning but because of the glimmer paper is really hard to photograph. Here are a couple more shots of it:
- Fold the card base in half on the score line and burnish it flat using a bone folder.
- Mark DSP at top and bottom - 1 inch in from each side. This will be a guide so you can easily add your adhesive glimmer paper.
- Remove the paper backing and peel it back about 2 inches leaving the rest of the protective paper on.
- Line up the glimmer paper between the pencil marks and attach at that end.
- Now make sure the opposite end is lined up within the other pencil marks. Then peel away the remaining paper and seal together
- Add DSP layer to the card front.
- Stamp, color, and die-cut the greenery.
- Glue the two pieces of the pendulum together. Then hole punch one end- this hole must be large enough for a mini dimensional to fit inside freely.
- Add DSP to pendulum matching borders at sides.
- Glue the greenery to the pendulum so that the pendulum does not show below the greenery or at the sides.
- Add NOEL letters to the DSP, then add the DSP to the glimmer mat.
- Add doubled mini dimensionals to the center of the center glimmer panel about 1 inch from the top. Add the pendulum
- Now add dimensionals doubled to each end of the greeting tag. Center it over the pendulum mechanism and attach it to the card front
- Using a mini hole punch to punch circles from leftover glimmer paper to use as embellishments
- Finish off your card by adding a red bow to the greenery
Great cards!
