Simply Sparkling 2- You're Soda-Lightful with Ink Blending & Water Flicking Technique....

How You Can Make It: 

Supplies:  

Simply Sparkling Bundle
Basic White card stock
Basic Black card stock
Silver Foil card stock
Memento Black ink pad
Blending Brush
Tahitian Tide Ink pad
Granny Apple Green ink pad
Granny Apple Green Blends
Lemon Lime Twist Blends
Black embellishments
Water


Measurements

Card Base: Basic White: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 score 4 1/4
Card Mat:  4 1/4 x 5 1/2 
Can & Lime: Basic White: 4 x 4
Elements: Silver Foil 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 
Greeting:  Basic White scrap
Greeting Tag: Basic Black scrap


Instructions:  

  1. Use a blending brush to apply Tahitian Tide ink in various areas of the Card Mat. 
  2. Use a blending brush to apply Granny Apple Green ink to the white areas of the card mat. TIP:  be careful not to "muddle: the colors too much or you will get discoloration
  3. Cut the card mat down to 3 3/4 x 5 TIP: use the strip you cut off to decorate the inside panel of the card base.
  4. Spray some water into your cupped palm...pick it up with fingers on the opposite hand, and drop it onto the inked panel, and set it aside to dry
  5. Stamp and die-cut the pop can, can pieces, and bubbles
  6. Stamp greeting using Memento black ink
  7. Add a greeting to a Basic Black mat layer and add dimensionals to the back side. 
  8. Stamp the background swish image on the can with stamped-off Tahitian Tide. Stam the Greeting with Granny Apple Green. 
  9. Stamp and cut out the lime image.  Color with Stampin Blends. 
  10. Once the panel is dry add it to the card front with strong adhesive
  11. Add dimensionals to the back center line of the can and add to the card front. 
  12. Add glue to the back of the bubbles and tuck them under the edges of the can as shown
  13. Add the greeting tag to the bottom of the can
  14. Embellish with black gems 
  15. Add the leftover strip to the inside of the card to embellish.
