Simply Sparkling...

 

Hello Stampers!  Happy New Year!  

My post is late today as I have been taking advantage of my Stat Holiday to prep and advertise January Classes!  More about that in a bit....but first....today's card.  

Can you guess which new bundle I used?

This card is so simple and I was pleased with how it turned out.  The silver foil dots were all leftover pieces from die-cutting!  I was going to toss them and thought "WAIT" I can do something with those. 

My first thought was to use them as embellishments on the card, which would totally work....but I had a lot of them....so this is what I came up with! 

How You Can Make It: 

Supplies: 

Simply Sparkling Bundle

Silver Foil

Blueberry Bushel Card Stock

Basic White Card Stock

Basic Black Card Stock 

Blueberry Bushel ink pad

Memento Black ink pad

Adhesives

Stylish Shapes Dies

Circle Punches: 1 3/4" & 2"

Measurements: 

Card Base: Basic Black: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4 

Card Mat: Blueberry Bushel: 5 1/4 x 4 

Card Liner: Basic White: 3 3/4 x 5

Banner: Basic Black:  3 1/2 x 1 1/4

Stitched Circle: Silver Foil: 2 1/4 x 2 1/4

Blue Circle: Blueberry Bushel: 2 1/4 x 2 1/4

White Circle: Basic White: 2x2

Instructions: 

1.  Fold the card base on the score line and then burnish it flat using a bone folder. 

2.  Add the Basic White card liner to the inside panel. 

3.  Glue leftover foil dots all over the card front randomly. 

4.  Die cut banner and circles

5.  Using Blueberry Bushel ink ( stamped off twice) create the background 

6.  Using Memento Black ink Stamp the greeting. 

7.  Layer the circles together and add to the banner, then add to the card front. 

This is a really simple one but I love how it turned out.
