Trusty Tools for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop....

Happy Saturday Stampers!  

Today I am joining my friends from around the world for our Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. 

This time we are featuring products from the new J2A Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration brochure. 

I decided to pick the Trusty Tools bundle for my card today.  

Here is my card: 

 

You don't always need to make overly embellished or heavily layered cards.  This one is super simple to make but I believe it packs a punch with the bright colors. 

How You Can Make It: 

Supplies: 

Trusty Tools Bundle

Memento Black ink pad

Basic White card stock

Parakeet Party card stock

In Color Gems

Assorted Stampin' Blend alcohol markers

Measurements: 

Card Base: Basic White: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4

Focal Image: Basic White: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

Greeting Tag: Parakeet Party: 1 x 4 1/4

Instructions:

1.  Stamp the paintbrush image repetitively on the focal layer using Memento Black ink. 

2.  Color images as desired using Stampin' Blend alcohol markers. 

3.  Stamp the greeting on the Parakeet Party card stock using Memento Black ink. 

4.  Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat with a bone folder. 

5.  Add the focal layer to the card front. 

6.  Add the greeting layer to the card front. 

7.  Embellish with in-color gems.
