Simply Sparkling 3- Always Refreshing with Ink Blending and Water Flicking Technique....


 Today, I am continuing with my series on the Simply Sparkling Online Exclusives bundle!

I once again chose the ink blending and water flicking technique as I did yesterday....but this time I opted for different colors. 

Supplies:  

Daffodil Delight card stock
Basic Black card stock
Basic White card stock
Silver Foil card stock
Poppy Parade card stock
Memento Black ink pad
Wild Wheat ink pad
Daffodil Delight ink pad
Poppy Parade ink pad
Simply Sparkling bundle
Stampin' Blend Alcohol Markers
Black enamel dots

Measurements:  

Card Base:  Daffodil Delight: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score 4 1/4
Card Liner: Basic White: 3 3/4 x 5
Mat Layer: Basic Black: 3 3/4 x 5 
Mat Layer: Basic White: 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
Art panel: Basic White: 2 1/2 x 4 3/4
Strips:  Basic Black: 2@ 1/4 x 4 3/4
Silver foil to cut the bubbles and the can trim
Basic White to stamp and die cut the can and cherries
Scraps of Basic Black and Basic White for the tag. 

Instructions
  1. Start with the art panel.  Use a blending brush to add ink - Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, and Wild Wheat- make sure there is no white showing.
  2. Drop and flick water from your fingertips onto the inked panel. Set aside and allow to dry. 
  3.  Fold the card base on the score line and burnish it flat using a bone folder. 
  4. Add a Basic White card liner to the inside panel of the card. 
  5. Add a Basic Black mat layer to the front of the card
  6. Add a Basic White mat layer to the front of the card 
  7. Add the dry art panel to the front of the card
  8. Add the two black strips 
  9. Stamp the greeting, the pop can, and the cherries. 
  10. Die-cut the pieces
  11. Assemble the can and add it to the card front
  12. Cut the bubbles in half and glue them under the can edges as shown in the photo. 
  13. Add the greeting and embellish with black dots.
