Zig Zag Fun Fold Trio

Last night was my Stamp With Shel Tuesday Night Free Online Card Class.

I shared how to make a super simple wow fun fold called the Zig Zag Fold.

I love this fold because it is easy and it beautifully showcases both sides of our gorgeous Stampin' Up! papers.

Here are my cards:

First up is the Sale-A-Bration free choice Flight and Airy DSP.  This is such a GORGEOUS paper!

This view shows the card standing open

Next up is the Rock Star Bundle found on page 55 of the J2A Mini.

Tip:  Watch the video replay below to learn how I did the greeting.

My final card features the Sale-A-Bration free choice Trusty Toolbox 12 x 12 DSP that perfectly coordinates with the Trusty Tools Bundle found on page 56 of the J2A Mini.

Don't you just love it when SU offers us items that coordinate so beautifully!

OK here is the link to the video replay so you can learn how to make the zig-zag fun fold cards:

How You Can Make It:

To make the card base you will need a piece of double-sided DSP that is 12 inches by 5 1/2 inches.

With the 12-inch side at the top of your paper trimmer, score at 2", 4", 8" and 12"

Mark up 2 inches from the bottom on each end and put a tick mark.

Now put DSP back in the paper trimmer.  Make sure the score line closest to the center of the card and the tick mark are in the cutting track and slice off the triangle. Repeat on the opposite side.

Fold on score lines and burnish.

Add a coordinating color mat layer and a white greeting layer to the inside of the card

Decorate your card as desired.

Challenge:  make one of these cards and show me what you came up with

Come back tomorrow to see what I did with the triangular pieces of DSP that we cut off when we made these cards...😉...waste not want not my Mom always taught me.
